CAARS 2 ManualChapter 6: Creation of the Final Forms |
Creation of the Final Forms |
The multi-phased selection process described in this chapter resulted in a final inventory of 95 items on both the CAARS 2 Self-Report and Observer forms. Two open-ended questions were added to each form to provide the rater with an opportunity to report additional information. One question asks the rater to report on any other issues or problems, and the other question asks the rater to describe the strengths and skills of the person being rated. Thus, the final CAARS 2 Self-Report and Observer forms each consists of 97 total items. The final forms are available in multiple languages; see chapter 13, Translations, for detailed information about their development.
