This chapter provides information about administering the Conners 4th Edition (Conners 4®), the Conners 4th Edition Short (Conners 4®–Short), and the Conners 4th Edition ADHD Index (Conners 4®–ADHD Index). Specific details are provided about appropriate raters, age ranges, reading levels, and administration time. This chapter then provides guidance that will help increase compliance, reduce bias, and ensure that ethical and legal guidelines are followed. Information about informed consent, confidentiality, and feedback sessions is also included. The administration procedure provided in this chapter applies to all the Conners 4 forms and is applicable to both online and paper-and-pencil administration methods.

Important Note: The Conners 4 can be administered via the MHS Online Assessment Center+. Paper-and-pencil administration can be completed through paper forms printed from the online portal. Some users may access the Conners 4 through integrations with North American and International partners or through electronic health records/student information systems. As such, rather than interacting with the MHS Online Assessment Center+, the user will be interacting with a partner’s online administration portal.
